Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

I worked as an Environment Artist on Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. This was a fantastic project that I'm really proud to have worked on. I created textures, assets, worked on a lot of optimization (LODs, Shadow Geo, Geo cleanup, etc), and got to do some set dressing as well. Shadow of Mordor would go on to receive huge acclaim and many Game Of The Year awards. 3ds Max, Quixel Suite, Zbrush, and Monolith's proprietary lithtech engine were used on this project.

Base figures and the armor set were provided by the Character team. I posed all figures and added the clothing, shackles, and chains in Zbrush.

Uruk's Hollow Stronghold. Layout was complete on this area when I started. I did a modeling pass on a lot of buildings featured here as well as optimization (LODs and shadow meshes) and custom player movement design for a few rooftops.

Strongholds in the Sea of Núrnen. Responsible for materials, models, vertex painting, player movement design on large climbing surfaces, and optimization. Layout was complete when I started this area, I polished and finished the area.
